Today I was happy to see that Maggie was feeling so much like her old self after her spay on Friday that it took 4 of us to get her to calm down and hold still long enough to put her cone back on after a walk and dinner.

Today I was happy that Kim confided in me about today’s high school drama.

Forgot to post yesterday. Argh!

Yesterday what made me happy is that Kim’s friend Sadia, who had spent the night, went home.

About 15 hours later:

It has been brought to my attention that my post sounds like I don’t like Sadia. She’s actually a lovely girl. But the non-stop squealing and giggling that happens when there are two teen girls together got to be a bit much.

It made me happy that today is my brother’s birthday, and my mom and I were able to FaceTime him to wish him happy birthday.

Today it made me happy to hear from the vet that Maggie’s spay went very smoothly.

Happiness2 Day 309 (11/25–Thanksgiving!!)

Today it made me happy to spend a lovely (and deliciously filling!) Thanksgiving with just six other people. That’s twice as many as last year, but nowhere near as many as some very large Thanksgivings I’ve been to over the years.

Today I was happy to get the mukimo and cranberry sauce done and the kitchen cleaned up before Matt got home from work.

Today I was happy to make a beautiful looking and delicious smelling pumpkin pie (from my other blog (7 years ago)) and a beautiful looking and delicious smelling pecan pie using the recipe on the back of the Karo syrup. My mom helped too, of course 😉

I can’t believe I forgot to post! It was getting to be such a part of my going-to-bed routine. Yesterday it made me happy that my mom and I got groceries and made pie crusts.
